Roadmap

Why Direct Spend Is The Base Path

Direct spend is the protocol-first base path for self-sovereign confidential transfer semantics on BCH L1.

Current status:

  • bounded two-input proof-aligned milestone is materially complete
  • live first-hop and follow-on validations are demonstrated

What Direct Spend Still Leaves Public

  • transaction graph and topology
  • shell carrier values
  • fee values
  • repeated update linkage

Interim Compromise

  • transparent supplemental economics support remains current practical path when reserve is insufficient
  • repeated no-top-up continuation is not yet the sustained normal path

Why Aggregation Is Later And Optional

Aggregation is future service-layer composition for observability reduction, not part of the direct-spend trust base.

Direct-spend publication should remain truthful without depending on an aggregator implementation.

Next Publication Tasks

  1. keep protocol/runtime/wallet boundary docs synchronized with code
  2. keep claim boundary precise and non-inflated
  3. classify remaining public observables explicitly
  4. frame aggregator work as later optional observability reduction
