Direct-Spend Hardening Journey¶
This is a concise boundary timeline, not a full historical changelog.
Landed Hardening Outcomes¶
- safe/default identity authority moved to commitment-authoritative posture
- runtime-proof-authoritative tx assembly and carrier checks landed
- verifier/export boundary tightened against conservation-opening style leakage
- continuation lifecycle correctness landed for follow-on authority source selection
- shell economics support path landed with explicit supplemental funding disclosure
- fixed-depth continuation unlock-shape mismatch was corrected
- bounded two-input proof alignment reached truthful bounded milestone
Live Validation Outcomes¶
- first-hop direct spend succeeds on Chipnet
- follow-on direct spend succeeds on Chipnet
- receiver recovery succeeds on validated path
- wrong-key recovery fails closed
Current Caveats¶
- reserve-limited repeated no-top-up continuation
- no private reserve replenishment path yet on deployed direct spend
- public observability of graph/shell economics/settlement topology remains
Current Milestone Position¶
Direct spend is publishable as a bounded protocol-first milestone with explicit public-observable limits and explicit later aggregation role.
